FIFA World Cup final 2022: In the final match of the FIFA World Cup played on Sunday, Lionel Messi’s team Argentina won the World Cup by defeating defending champion France (Argentina vs France) 4-2 in the penalty shootout. Argentina won the FIFA World Cup after the year 1986. Live streaming of this World Cup was also done on Jio Cinema app along with Sports 18. To enhance the match viewing experience for users, Jio Cinema partnered with Snap Inc to provide voice activated AR lenses and engaging content on Snapchat’s Discover platform throughout the FIFA World Cup.

Discover, the fourth tab on Snapchat, is a section for Indian Snapchatters to explore news, entertainment and expert editorial content. It featured premium sports content and game highlights from the Football World Cup, which was also made available on Sports18- 1 and JioCinema.

For the first time in India, users got access to multiple AR lenses to participate in the football carnival that began on 20 November. With all these features, the enjoyment of watching football has doubled for the users.

New experience found on Jio Cinema
Many new experiments were also done for the live streaming of FIFA World Cup 2022 on the Jio Cinema app, which was liked by the users. With the hype mode given in it, users could watch the match from many angles. Along with this, users were also given the facility that they could go back a few seconds and re-enjoy any exciting moment of the match. A goal scored in a game or a great save could be seen quickly and from multiple camera angles.
