New Delhi. In order to increase domestic tourism in the country, tourism ministers of all the states including Union ministers will gather in Dharamsala, Himachal Pradesh. The national conference will be organized here from 18 to 20 September. Apart from the tourism ministers of the states, Union ministers, administrators of UTs as well as senior officials of the central government and state governments will participate in this three-day conference.
Union Minister for Tourism, Culture and Donor G. About 250 delegates are expected to attend this conference to be chaired by Kishan Reddy. Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur will inaugurate the conference. Many eminent personalities including Sadhguru, Anand Mahindra and Kapil Dev will attend the conference.
At the same time, many people including Arunachal Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, Assam, Tripura, Mizoram, Haryana, Sikkim, Goa, Meghalaya, Karnataka, Ladakh, Bihar, Chhattisgarh, Gujarat, Jammu and Kashmir, Jharkhand, Kerala and Maharashtra attended the conference. Tourism ministers of other states will also attend.
In this conference, the focus will be on various policies and programs of the Ministry of Tourism, which can lead to the development of domestic tourism. In the conference, the role of digital technology in tourism, increasing craze of home stay, Ayurveda, wellness and medical value travel will be discussed. At the same time, wildlife tourism, responsible tourism, tourism related aspects of G-20 will be discussed along with the review of the implementation of the projects run by the Ministry of Tourism.
