Today we are going to tell you a very simple recipe of making Shahi Kheer, with the help of which you can easily make Shahi Kheer.

Ingredients for making Shahi Kheer
Milk – 1 liter
Rice – 1/2 cup
Raisins – 2 tbsp
Almonds chopped – 15-16
Saffron – 7-8 threads
Makhane – 1/2 cup
Cashew – 8-10
Cardamom powder – 1/4 tsp
Sugar – 1/2 cup (as per taste)

How to make Shahi Kheer
To make Shahi Kheer full of taste, first of all clean the rice and soak it in water for some time. Now cut almonds, cashew nuts and makhana into pieces. Now put milk in a vessel and keep it to heat on medium flame. When the milk comes to the first boil, add the soaked rice to the milk and mix it well with the help of a ladle.
Let the milk rice cook on medium flame for 7-8 minutes so that the rice gets cooked well. After this, slow the flame of the gas and mix cardamom powder and sugar in it. After cooking for another 1-2 minutes, add raisins, cashews, almonds and makhana to it. Now cover the pot and let the kheer cook on low flame for 5 minutes more. After that turn off the gas. Your delicious Shahi Kheer is ready for enjoyment. If you want, you can keep it in the fridge for some time to cool down. This enhances the taste of kheer even more.
