Rajma Pulao is easy to make and does not take much time to make.

Ingredients for making Rajma Pulao
Rice – 1 cup
Rajma – 1 cup
Tomato – 1
Onion – 1/2
Ginger-garlic paste – 1 tsp
Cumin – 1 tsp
Turmeric – 1/4 tsp
Red chili powder – 1 tsp
Coriander Powder – 1 tsp
Garam Masala – 1/2 tsp
Black pepper – 1/4 tsp
bay leaf – 1
star anise – 1
Cloves – 3-4
Green coriander leaves – 2 tbsp
Desi Ghee – 1 tbsp
Salt – as per taste
How to make Rajma Pulao
To make Rajma Pulao, first clean and soak the kidney beans in water for overnight. After this, boil the rajma for at least 10 minutes before making the pulao. Apart from this, whenever you want to make pulao, soak the rice for at least 20 minutes. After this, finely chop the onion and tomato. Now put ghee in a pressure cooker and keep it to heat on medium flame.
When the ghee becomes hot and melts, then add cumin, clove, black pepper and other dry spices and fry for some time. When the aroma starts coming from the spices, then add finely chopped onion and fry till it becomes light brown. After this, add ginger-garlic paste and chopped tomatoes and let all the ingredients cook on medium flame for 1-2 minutes. Let them cook till the tomatoes become soft.

After the tomatoes become soft, add boiled kidney beans and fry for at least 1 minute. After this, add turmeric, red chili, coriander powder and other spices, mix well and fry on low flame. After this, add the soaked rice to the mixture and with the help of a ladle or a big spoon, mix all of them well. After this, add coriander leaves and 2 cups of water, cover the cooker and cook for 2 whistles and turn off the gas. Open the lid of the cooker after the pressure is released automatically. Tasty Rajma Pulao is ready for dinner.
