Bad news for “Shits Creek” fans: It’s your last chance to enjoy the chaos, glee, and tenderness of the Rose family on Netflix.
More than 140 titles are joining the streaming service in October, but 30 are ready to go, including all six seasons of the beloved Canadian sitcom. Nevertheless, all is not lost. “Shit’s Creek” will be available on Hulu after leaving Netflix earlier in the month.
Another show on its way is the three-season documentary “Leah Remini: Scientology and the Aftermath,” which will no longer be on stage by Halloween. The award-winning series consists of 37 episodes focused on the controversial Church of Scientology and the experiences of those who left the organization.
As for movies, Netflix will be saying goodbye to several rom-coms including the 2001 hit “The Diary of Bridget Jones”, Jane Fonda’s 2005 career revival “Monster-in-Law” and the highly anticipated 2018 film “Little Italy.” Also due for departure are “Miss Congeniality” and “Miss Congeniality 2: Armed and Brilliant”.
For plays, the stage is missing “8 Miles” and “The Notebook” as well as “Apocalypse Now Redux”.
