Ganesh Visarjan 2022: On the last day of Ganeshotsav, which lasts for ten days, when the time to send off the Vighnaharta comes near, the hearts of the devotees start filling. Tears start coming out of the eyes of many devotees while taking away their dearest Bappa from them. Once again such an occasion has come when the Vighnaharta is about to be immersed. During the aarti that takes place before the immersion of Ganpati Bappa, this time you can offer him his favorite Motichoor Laddu. According to the scriptures, Lord Ganesha is very fond of Motichoor Laddu and Modak. In such a situation, you can prepare Motichoor Laddu as an indulgence.
Besan, milk along with other ingredients are used to make Motichoor Laddu. If you have not made Motichoor laddus yet, then our recipe can be useful for you.
Motichoor Laddu recipe
Milk – 1 liter
Besan – 2 cups
Desi Ghee – 5-6 cups
Sugar – 3 cups
Green cardamom – 1 tsp
Baking Soda – 1 pinch
Orange food color – 1/2 tsp

How to make Motichoor Ladoo
To make Motichoor Ladoo, first let’s start the process of preparing sugar syrup. For this, put 4 cups of water in a pan and heat it on medium flame. When the water starts to heat up, add sugar to it and keep stirring the sugar till it gets completely mixed in the water. Now let this solution of water and sugar heat up for 2-3 minutes. After this add milk to it and let it cook by slowing the flame of the gas. The foam that will form while heating it, keep it out in between. Cook the syrup till it attains a uniform consistency.
After this, mix orange food color and cardamom powder in the syrup and keep it aside. Now put besan in a big mixing bowl. Pour milk into the gram flour making a thin edge and prepare a thick batter by stirring it with your hands. After this add baking soda and mix it well in the solution. After this, put ghee in a pan and heat it on medium flame.

When the ghee melts after heating, take a ladle with a medium hole and prepare boondi by adding gram flour mixture to it. Now fry the boondi till its color becomes golden. Similarly prepare boondi from all the batter. Now let the prepared boondi cool down and after that add sugar syrup and mix it well with both hands. After this, tie the laddoos with both the hands of the mixture and keep them in a tray. Prepare Motichoor Laddu from all the mixture. Motichoor laddus are ready for enjoyment.
