Comedian Raju Srivastava (Raju Srivastava) passed away today on Wednesday, 21st September and his passing has left a void in the entertainment industry. While fans and celebrities mourned his demise, stand-up comedian Rohan Joshi’s comment on his demise did not go down well with many. This happened when Rohan reacted to Atul Khatri’s post on the death of Raju Srivastava.
Atul posted a picture of Raju on Instagram and wrote, ‘RIP Rajubhai. You were an inspiration to so many people. Whenever you used to go on stage, you used to set fire to it. Your presence was such that whenever people saw you, a smile came on their face. A big loss for Indian stand-up comedy.
Rohan Joshi commented on this, in which it was written, ‘We have not lost anything. Whether it is karma or roast or anything that is coming in the news. Raju Srivastava took every opportunity to work on a new comedy, especially after the new wave of stand ups started. He used to go to every news channel every time where he was invited to call the new art nonsense.
He further wrote, ‘They used to call it wrong, because they did not understand it and new stars were emerging. He may have told some good jokes, but he didn’t understand the spirit of comedy or anything about defending one’s right to say something, even if you don’t agree.’
