Hardik Pandya made a fan’s day who have been waiting for an hour
This special fan of Hardik was the Indian High Commissioner of Antigua and Barbuda

Indian players on this tour are not only winning the match but also the hearts of the fans. Whether it is about autographs, selfies or just shaking hands, the players of Team India are trying to fulfill every request of the fans. Indian fans living in the West Indies are also facing all the sunshine, rain to get a glimpse of their star player. This series, which started from Trinidad, was also seen in the second and third T20s of Venue St Kitts and Nevis. When the fans were not afraid to stand outside the stadium for hours to see the Indian players.
There was also a special guest among the fans waiting for autographs and selfies of their star players after the third T20 between India and West Indies in St Kitts. It was none other than Dr KJ Srinivas, India’s High Commissioner in Guyana, Antigua and Barbuda, who waited for over an hour to meet his favorite player, Hardik Pandya. A video of this has also surfaced, in which Hardik himself reached to meet his special fan and hugged him. This video has been shared by sports journalist Vimal Kumar on social media.
Indian High Commissioner took fitness tips from Hardik
Regarding meeting Hardik, the Indian High Commissioner said, “I met him only as a friend. I had a very good conversation with Hardik for the last few days. I was asking him about his diet plan, how he stays so fit…the conversation started like this and it went on. Hardik also spent a lot of time with Indian High Commissioner Dr. Srinivas and his family and also took selfies.
‘Indian players are loved by the people of West Indies’
Dr Srinivas further said, ‘Cricket is a religion in India as well as in West Indies. When the Indian cricket team came to the West Indies in 2019, there was no match in St Kitts. This time the team has come here. Being the Indian High Commissioner, I hosted Team India. There is a lot of love and affection between us. I saw that Indian cricketers have affection for the people of West Indies and the same sentiment is also in the minds of Caribbean people about Indian players.
