New Delhi. The third T20 match of the series between India and West Indies (IND vs WI 3rd T20I) will start at the revised time. Cricket West Indies (CWI) confirmed this on Tuesday. Both the teams have also agreed to this. Earlier, the second T20 match of the series played at Warner Park Stadium on Monday night also started with a delay of about 3 hours.
Regarding the second T20 match, information was received that due to non-arrival of the players’ kit bags on time, the match started late. Now the third T20 is to be held today i.e. without any day break. In such a situation, the time has been changed with the aim of giving some rest to the players. CWI, however, did not specifically mention the delay in arrival of the goods.

The board has confirmed that the third T20 match between West Indies and India will also start late so that the players of both the teams can get enough rest after the second T20. CWI said that both the teams have agreed to play the third T20 at 12 noon (9:30 PM IST). The statement also mentioned about the cost of tickets and the mode of ticket purchase. The gates of the stadium will open at 10 am and tickets for the match in St. Kitts will still be available from the stadium box office.
The Indian team is accustomed to playing day-night matches, whereas in the West Indies matches are being held in the morning, so the conditions are different here. The late start in the second T20 proved to be effective for the West Indies team. West Indies bowlers bundled out India for 138 runs and achieved the target with 4 balls to spare. With this, the series was also leveled at 1-1. Obed McCoy took 6 wickets for 17 runs and became the player of the match. This is the best performance by a bowler in T20 against India.
