?New Delhi. The Indian cricket team will take on West Indies in the second T20 International at St Kitts on 1 August. They won the opening game by a comfortable margin. Now in the second T20 match, Team India will once again come with the intention of winning. The last two matches will be played in Lauderhill, Florida. Returning to T20Is ahead of the 2022 Asia Cup, India’s all-format captain Rohit Sharma played a scintillating innings to help them register an easy win over the Nicholas Pooran-led West Indies in the opening match of the series.
Rohit Sharma played the captain’s innings. However, the veteran batsman got minimal support from India’s world-class batting line-up. As an opener, Suryakumar Yadav scored 24 runs in 16 balls, while Shreyas Iyer (0), Rishabh Pant (14), Hardik Pandya (1) and Ravindra Jadeja (16) scored runs. Sharing a video on his YouTube channel ahead of the second T20 International, former Indian cricketer Aakash Chopra said that “some big questions are already there” for the Indian team.
‘Some changes have to be made in the playing XI’
Aakash Chopra also credited the Indian team for reading better conditions than the hosts in the first match of the series. The former Indian cricketer also explained why India should change their playing XI for the second T20 International. He said, “Some changes will have to be made in the team, because there is more help for the fast bowlers here.”

Talking about the playing XI, Aakash Chopra feels that Shreyas Iyer will have to sit on the bench if Team India wants to include Sanju Samson for the second T20. He said, “If you got Surya opening in the last match, then do the same in this match, but Surya is not your opener. I think the team can go with Suryakumar Yadav once again, but don’t be surprised if you see Sanju Samson opening. Same batting order when Surya opens. If Sanju opens, Shreyas Iyer will be out.
