New Delhi. The stock market gave investors a chance to make profits for the sixth consecutive session. On Wednesday, the market closed on the green mark, maintaining the lead of 5 sessions. The market started with a fall today, but by the end of the day’s trading, the Sensex and Nifty made good gains. Today the BSE Sensex closed at 58,350 with a gain of 214.17 points. At the same time, Nifty closed at the level of 17,388 with a gain of 42 points.
Talking about the sectoral index, Financial Services, IT and Oil & Gas closed on the green mark on the Nifty. Apart from this, all others including Nifty Bank, Auto, FMCG, Pharma & Bank, Media and Metal performed poorly.
