New Delhi. Several companies released their results for the quarter ended June of the current financial year on Friday and Saturday. These companies included SBI, Fortis Healthcare, Paytm, HT Media, Marico Limited, Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited (HPCL) etc.
SBI’s profit down 7 per cent to Rs 6,068 crore
State-owned SBI’s standalone net profit declined 7 per cent to Rs 6,068 crore in the first quarter of the current financial year. The profit of the bank has also decreased due to decrease in income. SBI said in the information given to the stock exchanges on Saturday that it had a net profit of Rs 6,504 crore in the April-June quarter of a year ago.
Fortis Healthcare’s profit down 69 per cent to Rs 134 crore
Fortis Healthcare’s consolidated net profit declined 69 per cent to Rs 134 crore in the first quarter ended June. Fortis had a profit of Rs 431 crore in April-June 2021-22.
Hindustan Petroleum reported a loss of Rs 10,196.94 crore in the first quarter
Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited (HPCL) has incurred a record loss of Rs 10,196.94 crore in the April-June 2022 quarter. According to the company, the loss was due to the non-increasing price of petrol and diesel.
Paytm’s loss widens to Rs 644.4 crore in Q1
Digital financial services firm One97 Communications on Friday said its consolidated loss increased to Rs 644.4 crore for the quarter ended June 30. One97 Communications operates under the Paytm brand. The company had a net loss of Rs 380.2 crore in the same period a year ago.
HT Media posted a loss of Rs 41.80 crore in the first quarter
HT Media Limited on Friday said its consolidated net loss declined to Rs 41.80 crore in the first quarter of the current financial year. The company said in the information given to the stock exchange that it had a net loss of Rs 75.05 crore in the same period of the last financial year.
Marico Ltd’s net profit up 3 per cent to Rs 377 crore
FMCG firm Marico Limited has posted a consolidated net profit of Rs 377 crore in the April-June quarter of the current financial year. Giving this information to the stock exchanges on Saturday, the company said that its consolidated net profit was Rs 365 crore in the same quarter a year ago. In this way, there has been a marginal increase of 3.28 percent in its consolidated net profit.
