GAIL’s net profit up 51% in June quarter to Rs 3,250.91 crore
Country’s largest gas company GAIL (India) Ltd. Its consolidated net profit jumped 51 per cent to Rs 3,250.95 crore in the April-June quarter of the current financial year. The company’s profit has increased mainly due to increase in margins in the gas marketing business.
Kalyan Jewelers recovers from losses, earned a profit of Rs 107.77 crore in the first quarter
Jewelery company Kalyan Jewelers India has earned a consolidated net profit of Rs 107.77 crore in the first quarter of the current financial year. Due to this, the company had a net loss of Rs 51.30 crore in the April-June quarter of the last financial year.
Dabur India Q1 net profit up marginally at Rs 441.06 crore
Bakery goods company Britannia Industries Limited’s consolidated net profit declined 13.24 per cent to Rs 335.74 crore in the first quarter ended June. The company had a net profit of Rs 387.01 crore in the April-June quarter of the financial year 2021-22.
Icra’s first quarter net profit down 11 per cent to Rs 21.6 crore
Domestic rating agency Icra’s consolidated net profit declined 11 per cent to Rs 21.6 crore in the first quarter of the current financial year. ICRA had earned a net profit of Rs 24.3 crore in the April-June quarter of the last financial year, while its net profit in the quarter ended March 2022 was Rs 33.7 crore.
Berger Paints profit up 80.60% at Rs 253.71 crore in April-June quarter
Paint company Berger Paints India Ltd’s consolidated net profit jumped 80.60 per cent to Rs 253.71 crore in the first quarter ended June 30, 2022. Berger Paints had a net profit of Rs 140.48 crore in the April-June quarter a year ago.
Adani Enterprises’ June quarter net profit up 76% at Rs 469 crore
Adani Enterprises Limited (AEL) consolidated net profit rose 76.48 per cent to Rs 468.74 crore in the first quarter of the current financial year. Due to this, in the April-June quarter of the previous financial year, the company had earned a net profit of Rs 265.60 crore.
Manappuram Finance’s June quarter profit down 35% at Rs 282 crore
Manappuram Finance’s net profit declined by more than 35 per cent to Rs 282 crore in the first quarter ended June 2022. The non-banking financial company had made a net profit of up to Rs 437 crore in the same quarter of the previous financial year.
Aditya Birla Capital posted record profit of Rs 429 crore in June quarter
Aditya Birla Capital posted its highest ever consolidated net profit of Rs 429 crore in the April-June quarter. This is 42 percent more than the same quarter last year. The company had reported a net profit of Rs 302 crore in the June quarter of the last financial year.
