New Delhi. Entering the tough competition in the modern hatchback segment in India, French manufacturer Citroen recently launched its latest model Citroen C3 in India. The price of which starts at Rs 5.7 lakh for the base variant, while the top-end, full-loaded model costs Rs 8.05 lakh. Now the company has started the delivery of this car. The vehicle is currently available for retail sale at La Maison Citron phygital showrooms in 19 cities.

The 19 cities where customers can visit the C3 showroom include New Delhi, Gurgaon, Mumbai, Pune, Ahmedabad, Kolkata, Bangalore, Hyderabad, Kochi, Chennai, Chandigarh, Jaipur, Lucknow, Bhubaneshwar, Surat, Nagpur, Vizag and Calicut. Pre-booking started in July
The crossover SUV was first introduced in India earlier this year and pre-bookings for this car started from July 1. Currently, bookings can be made on the company’s official website or by visiting their nearest dealership with a token amount of Rs 21,000. The C3 is the second model in the company’s lineup after the C5 Aircross luxury SUV. It will compete with cars like Tata Punch, Nissan Magnite, Kia Sonet and Renault Keeger in the Indian market.

The Citroen C3 has been launched in India with two engine options. It is powered by a 1.2-litre naturally-aspirated petrol engine that produces a maximum power of 81 bhp and peak torque of 115 Nm. Apart from this, the car also gets a 1.2-litre turbo petrol option, which produces 109 bhp of power and 190 Nm of torque. You also get the option of five-speed manual and 6-speed manual gearbox for transmission.
