Deepak running out of Team India for 6 months
Deepak Chahar has been running out of Team India since February. The 29-year-old pacer suffered a hamstring injury during the T20I series against West Indies. Deepak was rehabbing for this injury at the National Cricket Stadium. During this, he got a back injury. For this reason he did not play IPL 2022. He was bought by Chennai Super Kings for 14 crores. But, CSK suffered a big loss for not playing him and the team proved to be laggy in this season. After the IPL, Deepak could not even play the series against South Africa and England. However, now he is fit. His being fit 3 months before the T20 World Cup is good news for Team India. His return will strengthen the Indian bowling.
Deepak can play in Asia Cup
In an interview given to The Telegraph last week, Deepak himself had informed about his recovery. Then he said, “I am happy about my recovery. I think I will make a place in the squad for the tour of Zimbabwe and the Asian Cup. I am also bowling here at the NCA and I feel much better while bowling than before.
