Ingredients for Gujarati Kadhi
Curd – 2 cups
Gram flour – 2-3 tbsp
Red chili powder – 1 tsp
Cinnamon Powder – 1/4 tsp
Sugar – 2 tbsp
Asafoetida – 1 pinch
Rai – 2 tsp
Curry leaves – 8-10
Steep red chili – 3
Green coriander chopped – 2 tbsp
Oil – 2 tbsp
Salt – as per taste

How to make Gujarati Kadhi
To make Gujarati Kadhi, first take curd and put it in a vessel and beat it well first. After this, add gram flour to the curd and mix again while whisking. Beat it until the lumps of this mixture are completely gone. After this add red chili powder, sugar, cinnamon powder, salt as per taste and 3-4 cups of water in this curd-gram flour solution.
Now put oil in a pan and heat it on medium flame. When the oil becomes hot, add mustard seeds and red chilies and fry for a few seconds. Then add curry leaves and fry it. When the spices start crackling, add gram flour-curd mixture and cook it. After this, cover the curry and cook it and stir it in between.

When the first boil comes in the kadhi, then reduce the flame of the gas and cover the pan and let it cook for 15-20 minutes. After that turn off the gas. Your Gujarati flavourful Kadhi is ready. Garnish it with green coriander leaves and serve with rice.
