Some time back, the EV conversion kit for Maruti Suzuki’s best selling sedan Maruti Dzire came and the electric kit for the best selling bike Hero Splendor Plus has also been introduced by a startup company.

Northway Motorsport, a Pune based company has launched EV conversion kit for Maruti Dzire. It has two models, Drive EZ and Travel EZ. Talking about the price, the price of these variants is between Rs 5-6 lakh. The company claims that with the help of Desire Electric Kit, you can cover a distance of 120 km to 250 km in a single charge.
The Maruti Dzire Drive EZ takes 5-6 hours to fully charge while the Dzire Travel EZ takes 8-10 hours to get 100% charged. You can drive both these electric kits of DZire at a top speed of 80 kmph for commercial use and 140 kmph for private use.
Maharashtra’s Thane-based EV startup company Gogoe1 launched the electric kit for Hero Splendor Plus last year and is priced at Rs 35,000. With battery and GST you will be able to buy it for around one lakh rupees. The use of this electric kit introduced for Hero Splendor Plus has also been approved by the RTO. There is a 3-year warranty on this electric kit. With this kit, you can run the bike up to 151 km on a single charge.
