TikTok is a new app that is far behind other social media like Instagram and Twitter. TikTok has already received over 2 billion downloads in its short existence and that alone tells you how popular the app is.
Although it’s usually associated with a younger audience, some boomers (which is a modern term for “older people”) have discovered the app and have actually amassed a following. Let’s take a look at the best boomers on TikTok.
Charles Mallet
This grandfather didn’t get on TikTok by starring in videos made by his grandchildren, he actually has his own profile and videos. She does all the challenges, she has a great sense of style and she has a lot of videos where she shares her recipes with her followers.
Ronald Williams
The main thing that defines Ronald’s videos is that he really likes candy. He does challenges for candy, eats candy, chases candies, … you name it. It got him on TikTok at the age of 78 with over 2 million followers. Sadly, Ronald passed away recently.

Pauline
Palin joined TikTok through her grandson Ross Smith’s account. The couple makes videos so funny that they have already managed to amass less than 10 million followers. They’ve given a lot of interviews and Pauline seems to love the attention the videos give her.

Susie
One of the funniest videos this woman ever made was explaining why her five children have different fathers. Suzy doesn’t take herself too seriously which makes her videos a joy to watch. Naturally, she does all the Tiktok challenges. As you do.

Sir Anthony Hopkins
In all fairness, Sir Anthony Hopkins is going to be one of the best all around. Not sure why TikTok should be any different. He even challenged Drake on TikTok, which is not something you’d expect from an Oscar-winning, 82-year-old Hollywood actor. So kudos to Sir Anthony Hopkins!

Grandma Sandy
If you ever need a challenge, look no further than Grandma Sandy. She will do all the challenges you introduce her. Compared to some people on TikTok, Sandy usually comes off as a very bold person. And thanks to TikTok, we can follow her escapades online.

Unknown grandmother
This grandma took over TikTok by starring in her granddaughter Dani Bosik’s videos. They do all kinds of dances together that Grandma can really keep up with! It’s nice to see technology bringing families closer together, isn’t it?
